My first career was as a literary academic, but now I write and perform poetry and flash fiction just for the love of it.

My work has been published in a number of journals, including The Boston Poetry Magazine, Corium, Literal Latte, Wild Violet, Mobius: A Journal of Social Change, and Writer's Digest. One of my poems was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2014, and my first chapbook, Tesseract, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2016.  A second chapbook, Materfamilias, will be published by Finishing Line in 2018.

I love to work with poetic forms from around the world, to experiment as widely as possible with different poetic voices and styles, and to collaborate with other artists.

I spoke more about my creative process in a July 2015 interview with Robert Lee Brewer on his Poetic Asides blog at Writer's Digest magazine.
